Draft regulations on workers on digital platform are on the way

In 2024, an EU Directive on workers on digital platforms was adopted. The deadline for Member States to implement the regulation is 2 December 2026. The Ministry of Labour has announced that a bill on this matter should be presented in the first quarter of 2026.

The Directive aims to improve the working conditions of persons engaged through digital platforms such as popular food delivery apps. One of the most important provisions of the Directive is the presumption of employment in situations where the facts indicate that the platform exercises direction and control over the persons. We have written more about the Directive on our portal.

The information provided by pulsHR.pl is that the ministry intends to publish draft Polish regulations in the first quarter.
