Labor Protection Council on the need for new health and safety regulations in the face of climate change
According to the current regulation on general occupational health and safety conditions, the temperature in work premises should be appropriate to the type of work performed. In principle, it should not be lower than 14°C, and in premises where light physical work is performed and in offices, not lower than 18°C.
The regulation does not specify a maximum temperature. In view of this, as well as the increasing climate change, the Labour Protection Board has called for regulations to be issued specifying the maximum temperature allowed at the workplace
