The government has adopted a minimum wage proposal for 2026
On 12 June 2025, the Council of Ministers adopted a minimum wage proposal for 2026. As of 1 January, it is to be PLN 4,806 gross, an increase of PLN 140 (3%) from the current PLN 4,666 gross. The minimum hourly rate is to increase from PLN 30.20 to PLN 31.40.
According to the law, the government must submit its proposal to the Social Dialogue Council by 15 June which has 30 days to agree a common position. If no agreement is reached, the minimum wage will be set by a Council of Ministers decree and published in the Official Gazette by 15 September at the latest.
