The ministry has announced priorities for Poland's Presidency of the Council of the European Union

The beginning of the new year marked the start of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union which will last until the end of June 2025. In connection with this, the Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy has announced the ministry's priorities for this period. The ministry will focus on three pillars in its work at the EU level:

  • The future of work in a digital Europe: ensuring fair and safe working conditions in the face of digital transformation. Under this pillar, work is to be on the right to disconnect, work-life balance,  and health and safety at work in a digital transformation.
  • A Europe of equality, cohesion, and inclusion: measures aimed at ensuring equality in the labour market, and work-life balance.
  • Europe responding to the challenges of the silver-haired era: getting seniors more active in the labour market and taking measures to better secure the period after retirement.
