Work is underway on a list of occupations most in-demand
The Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy has announced that it will compile by the end of this year a draft list of occupations most in-demand.
This document will form the basis for applying a priority procedure when considering applications for work permits and employee visas. During a meeting of the Social Dialogue Council's working group on reform of the labour market policy, the ministry encouraged employers to help in drafting the list. Affiliates of theirs have declared that they will submit own proposals by the end of the month, based on the annual barometer commissioned by the ministry of occupations most in-demand.
