A bill on collective labour disputes dated 11 July 2022 (draft number: UD 408) was published on the Government Legislation Centre’s website on 15 July 2022.
The subject matter of a collective dispute is to be broader than in current legislation. It will now be possible for a collective dispute between persons engaged in gainful employment and employer(s) to concern trade union collective rights and freedoms, as well as professional, economic or collective social interests or rights, as related to work performance.
Legislative work on the draft bill has just begun.
