A change in the minimum remuneration thresholds of employees posted to Poland
In order to obtain a work permit for an employee posted to Poland, that person's remuneration must be at least 70% of the current average monthly remuneration in the given province on the date of the application’s submission.
A recently published announcement of the President of Statistics Poland provided the average gross remunerations in the provinces in 2022. According to it, the minimum remuneration ranges from PLN 3,799.47 gross in the Warmia-Mazury province to PLN 5,255.99 gross in the Mazowia province. Therefore the remuneration of any employees who have been posted to Poland should be adjusted to the new minimum thresholds.
