Draft Regulation on the Minimum Wage for 2027

As the Social Dialogue Council failed to reach an agreement by the statutory deadline, the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy submitted a draft regulation on the minimum wage for 2027 to the Council of Ministers on 8 September 2026.

According to the relevant legislation, if no agreement is reached within the Social Dialogue Council, the Council of Ministers must set the minimum wage and minimum hourly rate by way of a regulation, by 15 September at the latest.

The draft provides for:

  • a new minimum wage of PLN 4,950 (an increase of PLN 144 from the current PLN 4,806);
  • a new minimum hourly rate for work of PLN 32.30 (an increase of PLN 0.90 from the current rate of PLN 31.40).

The new rates are due to take effect on 1 January 2027.
