How much is vacation pay in 2025?
The vacation season is underway and we remind you that some employers may forgo establishing a company social benefits fund and instead pay employees vacation pay.
The maximum amount of the pay depends on the average wage and, in 2025, it is:
- PLN 2,723.40 – for a full-time employee in normal working conditions,
- PLN 3,631.20 – for a full-time employee working in special conditions or performing work of a special nature.
The statutory condition for receiving the benefit is to take at least 14 consecutive calendar days of vacation. An employer pays the benefit no later than on the last day before the vacation. The amount that is paid is exempt from social security contributions.
Discussions are underway at the Ministry of Labour to eliminate the requirement of using 14 consecutive calendar days of vacation.
