Mobbing - changes in the bill?
The Ministry of Family, Labor, and Social Policy is completing an analysis of comments on a draft amendment to the legislation on mobbing.
Employers have criticized the current draft because of the lack of differentiating requirements in accordance with the size of a firm. The ministry is considering revisions to the draft that will primarily reduce obligations on small businesses by simplifying the consultation of anti-mobbing regulations. The period between the promulgation of the regulations and when they enter into force could also be extended.
The ministry does not intend to reneg on key changes such as removing the requirement for the duration of action for it to be considered to be mobbing or also qualifying unintentional behavior as mobbing.
The final draft is expected to go to the Council of Ministers in third quarter of 2025.
