This function had been in place for several years, serving to book appointments for foreigners to submit applications for temporary residence permits, permanent residence permits and long-term EU resident permits. It had not been functioning properly for a long time – booking appointments was exceedingly difficult due to system overload and its vulnerability to bots.

The Office indicated that until the implementation of new, planned solutions, providing for the submission of applications in electronic form via an online service in the Case Handling Module (MOS), applications should be submitted by traditional mail or in person at the reception desk of the Customer Service Station (POK).
