The new contract management system is now operational, but not for everyone
The Ministry of Labour has announced that the system for electronic handling of contracts began operating on 7 January.
The system allows users, among other things, to:
- conclude, amend and terminate contracts of employment, contracts of mandate, and service contracts,
- use standard forms for contracts and related documents (e.g. notices of termination),
- sign documents by using an electronic signature (qualified, trusted, or personal),
- maintain employee documentation,
- register employees for social insurance.
The system can be accessed through https://www.praca.gov.pl/umowy, using methods such as mObywatel or Trusted Profile.
Unfortunately, the current capabilities of the system only apply to maintaining documentation for newly hired employees. Furthermore, the system is available mainly for micro-entrepreneurs and small employers (employing up to 9 persons). However, work is underway on a bill that would extend to larger entities the possibility of using the system.
